Zelenskyy says Ukraine needs more weapons

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine is not receiving even half of the arms aid allocated by the United States. Zelenskyy made the comments in an interview with CNN, in which he said that Ukraine needs more weapons to defend itself against Russian aggression.

Ukraine has received some weapons from the US, but not enough

The United States has provided Ukraine with billions of dollars in weapons and other aid since the start of the war in 2014. However, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is still not receiving enough weapons to meet its needs.

“We need more weapons, we need more ammunition, we need more air defense systems,” Zelenskyy said. “We are grateful for the support that we have received from the United States, but we need more.”

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is running out of weapons and ammunition, and that the situation is becoming increasingly difficult.
