Dana White Announces New UFC 310 Main and Co-Main Events During Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Fight
Additional Fights Added to Already Stacked Card
Just hours before the highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, UFC President Dana White took to the ring to announce several changes to the upcoming UFC 310 fight card. The original main event, a lightweight bout between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor, has been postponed due to an injury sustained by Poirier in training.
New Main Event and Co-Main Event Announced
Stepping in as the new main event will be a welterweight title fight between current champion Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal. This highly anticipated rematch was originally scheduled for UFC 251 but was postponed due to Masvidal's desire for a larger purse. The co-main event will now feature a bantamweight title fight between Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen.
Other Notable Additions to the Card
In addition to the main and co-main event changes, White also announced several other additions to the UFC 310 card. A heavyweight bout between former champion Stipe Miocic and Jon Jones has been added, as well as a light heavyweight fight between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira. These high-profile matchups have further stacked an already impressive card.
