Turkey's hopes of securing a victory over Wales in the UEFA Nations League were dashed on Wednesday, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw, despite Turkey's early lead.

Turkey took the lead in the second half through Halil Dervişoğlu, but Wales equalized late in the game with a goal from Brennan Johnson.

The result leaves Turkey in third place in Group B4, two points behind Wales and four behind leaders Belgium.

Dynamo's Rival Buries Montenegro

In another UEFA Nations League match, Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv rival, Ferencváros, defeated Montenegro 4-1 on Wednesday.

Montenegro took the lead through Stefan Savić, but Ferencváros came back with four unanswered goals from Myrto Uzuni, Ryan Mmaee, and Adama Traoré.

The win moves Ferencváros to the top of Group B3, while Montenegro remains at the bottom.
