Sweden Beat Slovakia 2-0 in Friendly Match
Goals from Djourou and Isak Secure Victory
Sweden defeated Slovakia 2-0 in a friendly match on Sunday, with goals from Johan Djourou and Alexander Isak securing the victory. The match was played in front of a crowd of 15,000 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
Sweden took the lead in the 20th minute when Djourou headed home a cross from Emil Forsberg. Isak doubled the lead in the 58th minute with a low shot into the bottom corner.
Slovakia had a few chances to score, but they were unable to find the back of the net. The closest they came was in the 70th minute when Robert Mak hit the crossbar with a free kick.
The win was a good result for Sweden, who are preparing for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. They will play their next friendly match against Norway on June 12.
