Badgers head to the Golden State for a pair of matches
No. 5 Wisconsin (9-1) heads to California this week for a pair of matches, facing No. 24 Pepperdine (6-2) on Friday and No. 22 San Diego (7-2) on Saturday.
The Badgers are coming off a 3-0 weekend at the Marquette Invitational, where they defeated Marquette, Northern Iowa and Illinois State.
Dana Rettke and Julia Orzol led the way for the Badgers last weekend, with Rettke averaging 3.5 kills per set and Orzol averaging 3.0 kills per set.
Sydney Hilley also had a strong weekend for the Badgers, averaging 10.5 assists per set.
The Badgers will be looking to continue their strong start to the season this weekend against two tough opponents.
Pepperdine is coming off a 3-1 win over No. 15 UCLA last weekend, while San Diego is coming off a 3-0 weekend at the USD Tournament.
The Badgers will need to be at their best to come away with two wins this weekend.
