Weber State Wildcats plan to once again play spoiler against ranked Idaho Vandals

Wildcats look to repeat late-season domination of Vandals at home

The rivalry between the Weber State Wildcats and Idaho Vandals has been largely dominated by the Vandals in recent years. In fact, the Vandals have won the last four meetings between the schools. However, the Wildcats have played spoiler to the Vandals' FCS Playoff hopes the last two seasons.

In 2019, the Wildcats knocked Idaho out of the FCS Playoff race with a 23-13 win in the regular-season finale. Last season, the Wildcats did it again with a 24-10 victory at Idaho.

Wildcats have dominated the Vandals late in the season.

The Wildcats are looking to make it three straight wins over the Vandals and play spoiler once again this year when they travel to Moscow, Idaho, on Saturday.

The Vandals are ranked No. 10 in the FCS Coaches Poll and are 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the Big Sky Conference. The Wildcats are 6-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. MDT.
