UNC looks to impress in-state WR Jamien Little during official visit
Tar Heels hope to stay in the running for the talented prospect with a strong performance this weekend
Little is one of the most sought-after prospects in the 2025 class and has several other major programs interested in his services
The University of North Carolina will have a chance to make a strong impression on one of the top in-state prospects in the 2025 recruiting class this weekend when 4-star wide receiver Jamien Little takes an official visit to Chapel Hill.
Little is from Charlotte, where he plays for West Mecklenburg High School, and is considered one of the top playmakers in the state. He is ranked as the No. 4 player in North Carolina and the No. 22 wide receiver in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.
UNC has been one of the schools most heavily involved in Little's recruitment, and the Tar Heels have a good chance to make a strong impression on him this weekend. The Tar Heels have a talented wide receiver group led by Josh Downs, but they will need to add some more playmakers to their offense in the future.
Also, Little would fit right in with UNC's offensive scheme due to his great speed and athleticism. And he is also a good blocker, which would be a plus for the Tar Heels' running game.
Little has already taken official visits to several other schools, including South Carolina, Florida, and Texas A&M. He is also considering visits to Ohio State and Alabama.
The Tar Heels will need to put their best foot forward this weekend if they want to stay in the running for Little's services. They will have a lot of competition, but they have a good chance to make a strong impression on him.
