Two More Candidates are Out of Miss Universe 2024, What Happened?
Miss Universe 2024 just got two candidates short.
Miss Universe 2024 is just around the corner, and two candidates have already withdrawn from the competition. Miss Universe Bahrain and Miss Universe Namibia have both announced that they will not be participating in the pageant this year.
Miss Universe Bahrain withdraws due to personal reasons.
Miss Universe Bahrain, Evlin Khalifa, announced her withdrawal from the competition on Instagram. She stated that she had made the difficult decision due to personal reasons. Khalifa did not provide any further details about her reasons for withdrawing.
Miss Universe Namibia withdraws due to lack of support.
Miss Universe Namibia, Cassia Sharpley, also announced her withdrawal from the competition on Instagram. She stated that she had made the decision due to a lack of support from the Miss Universe Namibia organization. Sharpley said that she had not received any financial support from the organization and that she had been forced to pay for all of her expenses out of her own pocket.
The withdrawals of Miss Universe Bahrain and Miss Universe Namibia are a major blow to the competition. Both candidates were considered to be strong contenders for the crown. Khalifa was the reigning Miss Bahrain, and Sharpley was the reigning Miss Namibia.
The Miss Universe 2024 competition will be held on January 14, 2024, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The winner of the competition will represent her country at the Miss Universe pageant later that year.
