Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay has expressed his delight at joining Napoli from Manchester United, insisting he has no regrets about leaving the Premier League club.
The 26-year-old completed a permanent switch to the Serie A giants on Tuesday, ending his eight-year association with United.
New Chapter In Italy
McTominay, who made 170 appearances for United, told Napoli's official website: "I am very happy to be here. This is a new chapter in my career and I am excited to be a part of this great club.
"I have always admired Napoli and their style of play. I am looking forward to learning from the coach and my new teammates and helping the team achieve success."
No Regrets
McTominay, who has been capped 38 times by Scotland, admitted it was a difficult decision to leave Manchester United.
But he added: "I believe this is the right move for me at this stage of my career. I am grateful for the time I spent at United and I wish them all the best in the future.
"But I am now fully focused on Napoli and I am determined to help the team achieve its goals."
