Rob Havenstein out, Joe Noteboom doubtful for Rams this week
Rams offensive line taking another hit
The Los Angeles Rams will be without starting right tackle Rob Havenstein for at least the next four weeks, coach Sean McVay said Monday. Havenstein suffered a sprained MCL in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. Joe Noteboom, who started at left tackle in place of the injured Andrew Whitworth, is also doubtful for this week's game against the Arizona Cardinals with a knee injury.
Bobby Evans to start at right tackle
With Havenstein out, Bobby Evans will start at right tackle. Evans has started 11 games at right tackle in his career, including seven last season. He allowed four sacks and 24 pressures in those 11 starts, according to Pro Football Focus.
Alaric Jackson could start at left tackle
If Noteboom is unable to play, Alaric Jackson will start at left tackle. Jackson has started 10 games at left tackle in his career, including four last season. He allowed three sacks and 18 pressures in those 10 starts, according to Pro Football Focus.
