Montana aims to bounce back against Portland State
Bobcats look to snap two-game skid
Montana (2-2) will look to bounce back from a two-game skid when it hosts Portland State (1-3) on Saturday at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
The Bobcats are coming off a 34-17 loss to Eastern Washington last week, while the Vikings are coming off a 31-21 loss to Northern Arizona.
Montana has won the last two meetings against Portland State, including a 35-16 victory last season in Portland.
The Bobcats are led by quarterback Lucas Johnson, who has thrown for 757 yards and six touchdowns this season. Running back Nick Ostmo has rushed for 305 yards and three touchdowns, while wide receiver Samuel Akem has caught 20 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns.
Portland State is led by quarterback Davis Alexander, who has thrown for 653 yards and four touchdowns this season. Running back Malik Walker has rushed for 249 yards and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Beau Kelly has caught 14 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. MT and will be televised on ESPN+.
