Mexico is the New Miss Universe 2023
Andrea Meza, Miss Mexico, won the Miss Universe pageant on May 16, 2021.
Andrea Meza, a 26-year-old software engineer from Chihuahua, Mexico, was crowned Miss Universe 2020 in a virtual ceremony held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Meza is the third Mexican woman to win the Miss Universe title, following Lupita Jones in 1991 and Ximena Navarrete in 2010.
She is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua with a degree in software engineering. She also holds a master's degree in public administration from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
