Mavericks' Naji Marshall: Iffy against San Antonio

Marshall's status is up in the air for Wednesday's matchup against the Spurs as he deals with a quad contusion

The 25-year-old forward is averaging 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season

Mavericks forward Naji Marshall is questionable to play in Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a quad contusion.

Marshall suffered the injury in Monday's win over the Los Angeles Clippers and did not practice on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old is averaging 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season.

If Marshall is unable to play, the Mavericks could start Dorian Finney-Smith or Theo Pinson in his place.

The Mavericks are 12-13 this season and are currently in seventh place in the Western Conference.

The Spurs are 10-14 this season and are currently in 12th place in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks and Spurs will tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
