Kansas Cruises to a 95-80 Victory

Kansas Continues to Impress

The Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team continued their impressive start to the season with a 95-80 victory over the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks, who are now 10-0 on the season, were led by Gradey Dick's 22 points. Jalen Wilson added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Jayhawks, while Dajuan Harris Jr. chipped in with 16 points.

Oakland was led by Blake Lampman's 20 points. Jalen Moore added 15 points for the Golden Grizzlies, who are now 4-4 on the season.

Kansas Dominates the First Half

The Jayhawks jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, taking a 52-37 lead into halftime.

Kansas shot 53.1% from the field in the first half, including 5 of 10 from three-point range. Oakland, meanwhile, shot just 39.1% from the field and made only 4 of 17 three-point attempts.

In addition to their shooting advantage, the Jayhawks also outrebounded the Golden Grizzlies 25-14 in the first half.

Kansas Holds On in the Second Half

Oakland came out strong in the second half and cut the Kansas lead to single digits with just over 10 minutes remaining.

However, the Jayhawks responded with a 10-0 run to push their lead back to 15 points.

Oakland would get no closer than 10 points the rest of the way, as the Jayhawks cruised to the victory.
