Griz's Turnaround Victory Secures Second Straight Win
MISSOULA, Mont. - The Montana Grizzlies scored four touchdowns in the second half to rally for a 28-17 victory over the Portland State Vikings on Saturday at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
The win was Montana's second straight and improved the Grizzlies to 2-2 on the season. Portland State fell to 1-3.
Portland State took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on a 3-yard touchdown run by Malik Walker and a 41-yard field goal by Tanner Trosin.
The Grizzlies cut the lead to 10-7 on a 1-yard touchdown run by Junior Bergen in the second quarter.
The Vikings extended their lead to 17-7 on a 1-yard touchdown run by Jalynnee McGee in the third quarter.
The Griz's rally began with a 1-yard touchdown run by Nick Ostmo in the third quarter.
