Danny Graham Joins Rams

Ex-Rovers Striker Signs One-Year Deal At Pride Park

Former Blackburn Rovers striker Danny Graham has joined Derby County on a one-year deal, the Rams have confirmed.

The 36-year-old forward, who scored 12 goals in 33 appearances for Rovers last season, was a free agent after leaving Ewood Park at the end of the campaign.

Graham has a wealth of experience in the Championship, having also played for Watford, Hull City, Swansea City, and Sunderland during his career.

He becomes Derby's third signing of the summer following the arrivals of David McGoldrick and James Collins.

Rams boss Wayne Rooney is delighted to have added Graham to his squad and believes he will be a valuable asset to the team.

"Danny is a proven goalscorer at this level and I'm sure he will score goals for us," said Rooney.

"He's a good character and he's got a lot of experience, which will be important for us this season.

Graham is excited to join Derby and is looking forward to working with Rooney.

"I'm delighted to be here," said Graham.

"Derby is a big club with a great history and I'm really looking forward to the challenge of helping the team get back to the Premier League.

Graham could make his Derby debut in their opening game of the season against Oxford United on July 30.
