Sergey “Smile” Kondrat, CEO of BetBoom Team, spoke about the formation of the new Dota 2 roster. According to the manager, after the team's failure at The International 11, they decided to completely change the roster.

No more “Grandpas”

The BetBoom Team CEO noted that the team's former roster didn’t show results due to its age. The management decided to sign younger and more ambitious players.

“We had a very high-class roster in terms of skill, but its age affected the result. Now the roster has changed by 75%. There are many young, ambitious and hungry guys in the team," Kondrat said.

The team has already held its first bootcamp and is preparing for the start of the new DPC season.

CEO's expectations for the new roster

Sergey “Smile” Kondrat set high goals for the new roster. According to him, the team needs to win The International 12.

“I expect the team to show high results and win The International. We have assembled a very strong roster that can achieve this goal,” Kondrat added.

BetBoom Team will start its new season in the first DPC league of Eastern Europe. The team's first match will be against Team Spirit on January 12.
