Another Five-Star Recruit Will Visit Florida Gators This Weekend
Gainesville, FL -
Per 247Sports’ Blake Alderman, five-star class of 2024 linebacker Jaheim Oatis will visit the Florida Gators this weekend. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Alabama native is the No. 1-ranked linebacker and the No. 16 overall prospect in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Oatis has been committed to Alabama since June 2022, but he has recently taken visits to other schools, including Georgia and Florida. The Gators are hoping to make a strong impression on Oatis during his visit, and they will have a chance to do so when they host the No. 7-ranked Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.
Oatis is a versatile player who can play inside or outside linebacker. He is a physical specimen with great size and strength. He is also a very good athlete with good speed and agility.
Florida is in need of linebackers, and Oatis would be a major addition to the class of 2024. He would be the highest-rated linebacker to sign with the Gators since David Reese Jr. in 2016.
Oatis’ visit to Florida is a significant development in his recruitment. The Gators are one of the top schools in the country, and they are hoping to land one of the best players in the 2024 class.
