Amanda Overstreet Found Safe After 3 Days Lost in Shenandoah National Park
Hiker Amanda Overstreet has been found safe after she was reported missing in Shenandoah National Park on Thursday.
Overstreet, 27, was last seen hiking on the Old Rag Mountain Trail on Thursday morning. She was reported missing later that day when she did not return to her car. Search and rescue teams, including members of the National Park Service, the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, and local volunteers, began searching for Overstreet on Thursday evening. The search continued throughout the night and into Friday morning.

Overstreet was found alive on Saturday morning by a group of hikers. She was located in a ravine, approximately one mile off the Old Rag Mountain Trail. She was transported to a local hospital for observation, but did not appear to have any serious injuries.
